Privacy Policy
Personal information and other data collected during the
registration process and your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy
Policy. Please ensure
that you carefully read the terms of our Privacy Policy prior to
clicking "I ACCEPT".
2. Member
Account, Password and Security
Once the Membership process is completed you will be
responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password you have
chosen, and will be fully responsible for all activities that occur
under your password and account.
As part of the sign-up process to become a Member, you will
provide (and remember) a four digit personal identification number ("PIN")
which will be required to Open SEAL™ Files and to retrieve your
password in the event it is lost or forgotten. You will be solely responsible
for choosing your PIN and for keeping it confidential. WorldWideOCR will never communicate
your PIN back to you via the WorldWideOCR website. As such, in the event that you
forget or lose your PIN, you will need to contact us directly in
order to initiate the applicable off line process.
3. Member Conduct and SEAL™ FILES
You understand that all information, data, text, software,
music, sound, photographs, graphics, video, or other materials in your
SEAL™ file are the sole responsibility of you and under no
circumstances will WorldWideOCR be liable in any way for the contents of any
SEAL™ that is uploaded using the Service.
You acknowledge that WorldWideOCR does not view or otherwise
pre-screen the contents of SEAL™ files. However, you agree that WorldWideOCR
may remove or disclose such content if required to do so by law or in
the good faith belief that such removal or disclosure is reasonably
necessary to (a) comply with legal process; (b) enforce these Terms and
Conditions; (c) respond to claims that any such content violates the
rights of third-parties; or (d) protect the rights of any third parties.
4. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold WorldWideOCR, its subsidiaries,
affiliates, officers, directors, agents or other partners, and
employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal
fees, made by any third party due or arising out of the content you
upload in a SEAL™ file using the Service, or any other breach of
these Terms and Conditions.
5. Modifications to Service
WorldWideOCR reserves the right at any time and from time to time
to modify the Service, or discontinue, temporarily or permanently,
particular features of the Service with or without notice. You agree that WorldWideOCR shall not
be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension
or discontinuance of the Service.
6. Cookies Policy

Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
"WWOCR", "WorldWideOCR" and "SEAL™" and all logos appearing on this site are the trade-marks of
WorldWideOCR.com Inc. or its partners. You
agree not to display or use these trade-marks in any manner without
WorldWideOCR.com Inc.'s prior written permission. You agree not to attempt to copy
in whole or in part the look and feel of the WorldWideOCR site, reverse
engineer, decompile or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of
any software contained on or used to operate the WorldWideOCR website.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties, Representations and Conditions
YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT:
(a)
YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN
"AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. WORLDWIDEOCR EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL
WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS AND CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, WHETHER
EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED
WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
(b)
NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, OBTAINED BY
YOU FROM WORLDWIDEOCR OR THROUGH OR FROM THE SERVICE SHALL CREATE ANY WARRANTY
NOT EXPRESSLY STATED IN THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
10. Limitation of Liability
YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT WORLDWIDEOCR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE
FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR
EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF
PROFITS, GOOD WILL, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES (EVEN IF WORLDWIDEOCR
HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES), RESULTING FROM:
(i) THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE; (ii) DAMAGES OCCURRING AS A
RESULT OF THE DISCLOSURE OF ANY CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION OR PROPRIETARY
INFORMATION CONTAINED IN ANY SEAL™ FILES; OR (iii) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS
TO OR ALTERATIONS OF YOUR SEAL™ FILE OR OTHER DATA.
11. Exclusions and Limitation
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN
WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS AND CONDITIONS OR THE LIMITATION OR
EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. ACCORDINGLY, SOME OF THE ABOVE
LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
12. Term and Termination
If WorldWideOCR is sold or otherwise dissolved, these terms and conditions will continue to be honored for all existing members for as long as they maintain their membership dues.
(a) Paid Membership - The term of your paid membership is one, three or five years, renewable upon payment of your next membership fee at the current membership rate and selected term. WorldWideOCR reserves the right to terminate your Membership immediately
upon becoming aware that you are in breach of any of these Terms and
Conditions. You may also
terminate your WorldWideOCR Membership simply by ignoring our Membership
renewal notifications. Failure to renew your SEAL™ Account will result in the total disabling of all SEAL™ File Services including Safe-Deposit Box Access, Opening SEAL™ files, Archive retrieval and Member's Toolbox. WorldWideOCR will no longer assume any responsibilty with respect to any claims made in regards to SEAL™ files made during your membership term. Upon membership
termination, all unused SEAL™ credits are non-refundable. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT, UPON THE
EXPIRATION OF THE THIRTY (30) CALENDAR DAY PERIOD AND THE DISABLING OF
ALL PERSONAL INFORMATION AND FILES RELATED TO YOUR MEMBERSHIP, YOU WILL NOT BE
ABLE TO RECOVER OR OTHERWISE RETRIEVE ANY OF YOUR MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
OR SEAL™ FILES COMMUNICATED TO US DURING YOUR MEMBERSHIP
REGISTRATION AND USE OF THE SERVICE.
(b) 15 Day FREE SEAL™ Account Trial - The term of your free trial membership is 15 days. Upon expiry, you will be required to return to the site to purchase a paid membership package in order to continue your SEAL™ File Services and maintain your SEAL™ File Archive. The number of SEAL™ credits used during your trial will be debited against the SEAL™ credit total of the paid membership option you choose. WorldWideOCR reserves the right to terminate your Membership immediately
upon becoming aware that you are in breach of any of these Terms and
Conditions. You may also
terminate your WorldWideOCR Membership simply by ignoring our Membership
renewal notifications. Once
your free 15 Day Membership expires, you will receive an e-mail instructing you that
your SEAL™ File Services have been disabled and that you have
seven (7) calendar days to return via the supplied link to purchase a paid membership. This will re-activate your SEAL™ Account and maintain your SEAL™ File Services and Archives. Failure to activate your Trial SEAL™ Account will result in the total disabling of all SEAL™ File Services including Safe-Deposit Box Access, Opening SEAL™ files, Archive retrieval and Member's Toolbox. WorldWideOCR will no longer assume any responsibilty with respect to any claims made in regards to SEAL™ files made during your membership term. Upon membership
termination, all unused SEAL™ credits are non-refundable. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT, UPON THE
EXPIRATION OF THE SEVEN (7) CALENDAR DAY PERIOD AND THE DISABLING OF
ALL PERSONAL INFORMATION AND FILES RELATED TO YOUR MEMBERSHIP, YOU WILL NOT BE
ABLE TO RECOVER OR OTHERWISE RETRIEVE ANY OF YOUR MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
OR SEAL™ FILES COMMUNICATED TO US DURING YOUR MEMBERSHIP
REGISTRATION AND USE OF THE SERVICE.
In order to utilize WorldWideOCR's services in any legal action involving SEAL™ Files created during the 15 Day Free SEAL™ Account Trial, you must purchase a paid membership before the final termination of your account by WorldWideOCR. Only members with paid memberships may participate the WorldWideOCR Invite-a-Friend promotion.
13. Fees
The fees for the Service are prominently displayed on the
WorldWideOCR Site. All fees
related to the Service are subject to change at any time at WorldWideOCR's
discretion. SEAL™ credits and are issued with no expiry for the duration
of the membership, but are non-refundable.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and
Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and
the laws of Canada applicable therein, and you expressly and irrevocably
attorn to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Alberta,
Canada for all matters arising out of or in connection with these Terms
and Conditions.
